FEV open new centre at Coventry University

C-ALPS, the Centre for Alternative Low Carbon Propulsion Systems, opened on 21 March 2019. This new building on Coventry University’s techno park is a joint development between the Aachen-based engineering company FEV and Coventry University. Included in the exhibits was Microcab’s Vianova fuel cell plug hybrid vehicle (see pic). Microcab at Waterloo, Belgium

Microcab H2EV, in operation with our colleagues at ULB, Brussels, drives out to the Butte de Lion, the monument to the Battle of Waterloo where Napoleon met his downfall. The vehicle fills with hydrogen at the station at Zavantem, near the airport in Brussels. The Air Liquide hydrogen station was installed as part of the FCH-JU funded SWARM project.
